[The Truth, David Cook]
Just a quick check-in with you all... I wanted to let you know that I did reasonably well this weekend, especially considering it was a long weekend and a holiday that normally becomes an excuse to eat more than one should. I was totally on track with 2,000-2,400 calories a day (I actually underate because I am supposed to level out at 2,600 a day on average... whoops). I also have to tell you that I was in so much pain yesterday (namely, my back and shoulder and neck) from bowling for 2 hours that it hurt to move.
Sad stinkin' day!
To be fair, we bowled 6 games and I had to use a 14 pound ball (think about it... throwing 14 pounds with force upwards of 120 times in as many minutes... oye!). I prefer a 10-12 but I have huge man hands and the tiny finger holes on the smaller balls never work for me. 'Tis a bummer.
Nothing really great to say, other than I stayed on track and have been running around all over at work today and I am so happy that tomorrow is hump day already!
Also... I know this makes me a bit of a horrible human, but... I am so sad that I can't watch American Idol tonight. I am recording David Cook on Ellen, so I can see that, but... I really miss getting to see him twice a week. Good thing I have tickets to see him, and the other idols, at the Tacoma Dome, on July 12.
On that note, I will be checking in to weigh-in tomorrow. I was down 5 pounds yesterday but I never seem to be down on Wednesdays so I just have to hope :)
