#50- It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Posted by Tami

No, really, only it didn't look this much like Christmas at Christmas.

I am uploading a load o' pictures for you to see what an absolute joy the weather was last night.

Sarcasm abounds.

Yes, that is a sad little flower that was beginning to enjoy the glories of spring- being that is was NEARLY EIGHTY DEGREES LAST SATURDAY- covered in snow.

Our lovely footprints in our lovely walkway. Because it's normal to leave footprints in the snow. In April. In Seattle. I am so bitter.

The snow covered shrubs and tree outside of our front window.

My hubby's wonderful truck... that had been parked for about 10 minutes (I kid you not).

This picture does no justice to the amount of snow falling, but I was trying to get the flash to bounce light off of as many snowflakes as possible.

Ok, so I couldn't decide whether I liked that last pic or this one better so I just put them both.

Those last two are my real feelings about the glorious April snowstorm.

And for any of you who are like, "Girl, you are gorgeous", now you understand why I need to not have 57 chins. Ugh.

In other news, I woke up feeling miserable, so I didn't work out right away. Then I ate lunch, puked like a mad woman, and felt much better. So I played Wii and did some strength training. Now I feel pukey again. Lovely.

The sexy man I am married to just got home so I am going to go spend time with him.

If it's warm where you are I don't want to hear even ONE WORD about it.

I have to say I would have given my right arm to have had just ONE day like that one this winter . . . but to make you feel better, it was a very chilly, windy day in CA.

I won't remind you that I live in Nuevo Mexico.

I hope you are feeling better!
