For those who dunno what the hizzo I am talking about in my title, the Healthy You Challenge is an online blogroll-community of sorts, packed with people (mostly women) seeking to lose weight and/or live healthier lifestyles.
So, for those in the HYC who are coming to see how I'm doing... I'm ok. About 7 out of 10. Not terrible- eating has been decently under control, with a splurge here and there (weekends never go well. I have GOT to figure out how to fix that) but no crazy bingeing episodes. Exercise was weak last week (oh, for the love of homophones), though I didn't do a whole lot of sitting on the couch. I stayed busy, but with mundane tasks (searching for spare pedometer batteries, for example). Though Sunday I spent like 6 hours playing The Sims 2 and it felt like an hour. Oy. Freaking. Vey.
Overall, I'm hitting a bit of a rough patch where I just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other, dig deep about why I am doing this (just because it's to surrender to Jesus and put Him in as number 1 in my life doesn't make the obedience part any easier), and not give up. I'm still losing weight, though I am trying not to stress about this week's weigh-in. I just feel really bloated and heavy. Hopefully I'm not up... but if I am, I just have to keep forging ahead.
That's me. There's other stuff going on (work related, mostly) but I'm not ready to talk about that yet. I feel so- SO- ready to just throw up but my tum won't actually go for the gusto; it would rather just feel like I'm trying to process glass in my intestines. It's lovely.

sometimes thats all it takes..just digging your heels in and going at it even when it sucks. some days I absolutely hate that I have to plan my meals and would love to just say screw it all, but I keep going. glad that you are too, and it sounds like you did well thi week and know what you need to do to continue to succeed.

I understand the comment about the Sims all to well having done the same thing with it myself. Also I picked up GTA4 and should be out walking and working out but just want to play all day.
