... And I Watch Them Grow

I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this picture.

I know someone from college who adopted the little boy in this picture.  That's the boy with his grandpa.

We intend to adopt some of the children we raise (we're hoping to raise 5-6 and to adopt probably 2-4 of them).  I hope that they are of multiple races and ethnicities.  I hate that Brangelina made this trendy, btw.  I had this idea before I had ever heard of her, and was blessed to marry someone with similar views.

I have been to orphanages in China and Honduras, and no one will ever be able to convince me that adopting those children into a loving, Christ-centered home is a bad idea.

Again, I love EVERYTHING about this picture.

4 battle cries

I've always wanted to adopt a child as well, and I know what you mean about Brangelina. I really just don't want to look like I'm just following her, but I know that I should be glad that she has brought the issue more into the public eye. Hopefully that will mean more adoptions, which can only be a good thing.
That is a really cute picture, BTW.
Good luck w/ the gluten free diet! I'm sure it is hard, but it can be done! Will you still eat gluten foods when you are out, or will you suffer together? :o)

I love this picture also! And being a black woman dating a black man, I hope to see this one day!

I love this picture also! As a black woman dating a white man, I hope to one day see this even if I have to adopt. I love the idea!

I've sometimes been disappointed that it has taken a superstar to make adoption more popular, and yet if that means that more people are open to taking care of the world's needy, isn't that a good thing?
